Papa & Barkley Launches New Line Of THC-infused Skincare Products

California-based cannabis wellness company Papa & Barkley has launched a new line of tetrahydrocannabinol or THC-infused skincare products.

According to the company, its new skincare products will boost skin health, moisturize, and make the skin look radiant as well as youthful. The new line of skincare products includes Releaf THC Body Lotion, Releaf 1:3 Body Oil, and Releaf 1:1 Repair Cream.

Papa & Barkley said it infuses fresh-pressed rosin into its skincare products, making them uniquely effective. Rosin, also known as solventless hash oil, is a golden sap-like substance made from the trichomes of the cannabis plant - the fruit of the flower.

Rosin infusion results in products that are more potent and efficacious than products made using traditional THC isolate- or distillate- based processes.

The company added that its skincare products are free of parabens, sulfates, formaldehydes, mineral oil, and phthalates, and are made entirely with natural ingredients carefully chosen for their therapeutic properties.

"Whether you're struggling with acne, hoping to reduce age spots, or just taking great care of your skin, there now is a Papa & Barkley skincare product you can turn to," said Papa & Barkley Founder and CEO Adam Grossman.

California dispensary, Harborside, will be among the first shops to carry Papa & Barkley's full skincare suite.

Papa & Barkley's new skincare products are also available online and in dispensaries throughout California.

In March, Papa & Barkley said it has expanded its product offering by launching a new line of rosin-infused skincare products, available to both national CBD and California cannabis-specific consumers.

The company launched products such as CBD Releaf Body Lotion, CBD Releaf Repair Cream and CBD Releaf Body Oil nationwide, while THC Releaf Body Lotion was launched in California only.

Cannabidiol or CBD is a naturally occurring cannabinoid constituent of cannabis. It is a chemical in the marijuana plant often used for medicinal purposes, and does not have the intoxicating effects like those caused by THC.
