Protein Shoppe Recalls 'Red- E' Male Enhancement Tablet

Protein Shoppe is recalling "Red-E" Male Enhancement tablet due to the presence of an undeclared drug ingredient, that can cause serious health risks.

The company has initiated recalling all lots of Red-E (Male Enhancement tablet) after an FDA laboratory analysis found that the product contains undeclared sildenafil, which is the active ingredient of a drug approved to treat erectile dysfunction.

sildenafil, a Phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor can cause serious health risks to someone with underlying medical issues.

Prior to the recall, the product was marketed as a male enhancement nutritional supplement. It was sold online at the website: www.rgvproteinshoppe.com

So far, Protein Shoppe has not received any adverse reports related to the recalled product.
