Taylor Swift's '1989' Spends Milestone 300th Week On Billboard 200

Taylor Swift's 1989 earned its 300th week on Billboard's all-genre 200 chart, becoming one of only four albums by women to spend at least 300 weeks on the chart.

On the new Billboard 200 chart dated September 19, 1989 was ranked at No. 116.

1989 debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated November 15, 2014 and has been on the chart for 300 of the 307 weeks since its debut.

1989 joins Adele's 21, which spent 482 weeks on the chart, Lana Del Rey's Born to Die, which spent 364 weeks, and Carole King's Tapestry, which spent 318 weeks.

Meanwhile, the all-time leader in terms of total weeks on the chart remains Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon with 950 weeks.
