Howden Joinery Names Paul Hayes CFO, Succeeding Mark Robson - Quick Facts

Howden Joinery Group Plc (HWDN.L, a supplier of kitchens and joinery products to the building trade, Friday announced the appointment of Paul Hayes as Chief Financial Officer.

Hayes succeeds Mark Robson, who will be moving on from his role as Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer on December 26 to take on a new challenge outside the company.

Further, the company said its Board has reviewed the executive structure and concluded it will revert to a standard structure with CEO and CFO on the Board.

Hayes, previously CFO of Consort Medical Plc, will join Howdens on November 2 and will become an executive director and member of Howdens' Board on December 27.

Hayes was with Consort Medical from 2017 until its acquisition by Recipharm AB in February 2020. He had also worked with Vitec Group Plc, Signet Jewelers, RHM Plc and Smiths Group Plc.

Robson joined the Group Board as CFO in April 2005 and was appointed Deputy CEO in May 2014 in addition to his role as CFO.

General Electric Co. filed a lawsuit against Siemens Energy AG, accusing the German power distribution company of stealing trade secrets for gas turbines.
