Sammy Hagar recently revealed that he was on board for a proposed "kitchen sink tour" by Van Halen that did not take place.

In a new interview with SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk," The Red Rocker said, "It was totally on my radar. No one had confirmed any of it, but it was obviously what was gonna happen. I wouldn't look forward to having to share the stage with Dave, only because he's not user friendly."

"I love the guy, I love the music, all that, but he's just not user friendly. He's always gonna pull something to try to make you look bad and make him look good and all that kind of stuff," he added. "But it would have been a blast. Are you kidding me? It [would have been] a dream come true."

According to Hagar, the legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen had plans to include bassist Michael Anthony, long time Van Halen lead singer David Lee Roth and Gary Cherone for the tour.

In 2019, there was a widespread rumor that the classic-era lineup of Van Halen would reunite after decades. But the tour did not take place reportedly due to Eddie Van Halen's health problems. The co-founder of the rock band died last month after battling cancer.
