The official lineup for the Global Citizen Prize awards ceremony has been announced.
Hosted by R&B star John Legend, the event is slated to be broadcast live on Saturday, December 19, and will feature performances by a range of artists, including Alessia Cara, Carrie Underwood, Common, Gwen Stefani, and JoJo, among others.
The Global Citizen Prize aims to honor and celebrate "the people standing up for the world we want," with this year's Artist of The Year award being bestowed upon Sir Elton John.
In addition to the musical guests, several other A-list celebrities are also gearing up to take part in the event, including John Oliver, Katie Couric, Miley Cyrus, Nick Jonas, Oprah Winfrey, Usher, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, among others.
Viewers can tune into the program at 7:30 pm ET on a variety of networks, including NBC, MSNBC, MTV International, Multimedios Televisión, and more.
