Marking the 50th anniversary of their classic album Stage Fright', The Band announced that a deluxe edition box set will be released on February 12 through Capitol/UMe.

The remixed, remastered and expanded editions will include a multi-format Super Deluxe 2CD/Blu-ray/1LP/7-inch vinyl box set photo booklet; digital, 2CD, 180-gram black vinyl, and limited edition 180-gram color vinyl packages.

The 50th-Anniversary edition includes unreleased recordings; "Calgary Hotel Recordings," a 1970 hotel jam; alternate versions of their all-time hits such as "Stage Fright," "The Shape I'm In," "The W.S. Walcott Medicine Show," and "Strawberry Wine"; and a 20-song concert captured during their 1971 European tour.

"For the first time, the album is being presented in the originally planned song order," says a press release.

The classic five-man Canadian-American rock group, formed in Toronto in 1967, permanently split after bass guitarist Rick Danko died in 1999. Garth Hudson and Robbie Robertson are the last surviving members of the original group.
