Legends Sir Elton John and Sir Michael Caine star in a hilarious video that encourages Britons to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

The video from the U.K.'s National Health Service shows both John and Caine auditioning for a spot in a vaccine campaign.

"My name is Elton John," the legendary singer says while smiling into the camera wearing a jacket and red polo t-shirt.

John then says, "The more people in society that get vaccinated, the more chance there is of eradicating the national COVID pandemic. It's really important to know that the vaccines have all been through and met the necessary safety and quality standards."

However, when the director asks John to pretend that he's just had the shot, he gives an unconvincing performance. The director says that they will get back to him about whether he got the spot.

"Oh, well, at this short notice you won't find anyone bigger," John says. The next shot shows Caine nailing the take in his first shot.

"I've just had a vaccine for Covid," Caine says. "It didn't hurt. Not many people know that."

Both celebrities have already been vaccinated against the coronavirus, the NHS said.

Their appeal for more Brits to get vaccinated comes as the U.K. looks to widen its rollout. Britain has already vaccinated over 12 million people with at least one dose.

"I wanted to take part in this film to help show people the benefits of getting vaccinated and how it helps protect ourselves and the people we love," John said. "So, I hope we can all come together and do our bit in the fight against this wretched disease."
