Playing For Change has released of a remake of the 1980 anti-apartheid anthem, "Biko," by Peter Gabriel.

Twenty-five musicians from around the world joined the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer for the re-recorded version of his 1980 protest classic.

The video was produced by Sebastian Robertson and Mark Johnson as part of Playing for Change's "Song Around the World" collaboration series.

After streaming exclusively on RollingStone.com for 24 hours on Friday, the video was released on the Playing For Change website on Saturday, February 13, which was Gabriel's birthday.

"Biko" Song Around The World first premiered in December as part of "Peace Through Music: A Global Event for Social Justice," a virtual concert and fundraising event organized by Playing For Change in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund in honor of the United Nations' 75th anniversary.

"This song is as relevant today as the day it was written and inspires our need for racial and social justice," said Johnson, Playing For Change co-founder and producer."
