Country legend Tanya Tucker, who made a comeback in 2019 with While I'm Livin', is planning another album.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the singer said she will be re-uninting with the same team from While I'm Livin', including Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings.

"We're just about ready to get started on a new album," she revealed.
"[Carlile] sent me maybe a verse and chorus, and it blew me away. So we're on the right track."

While I'm Livin', which dropped on August 23, 2019, was Tucker's twenty-fifth studio album. The album was produced by Carlile and Jennings. It was Tucker's first album since 2009's My Turn, and her first album of original material since her 2002 album, Tanya.

The album earned Tucker the Grammy Award for Best Country Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in addition to winning Best Country Song for "Bring My Flowers Now".

"All I want, all I've ever wanted, was just an opportunity to be heard," Tucker said. "Not to close me off and not to categorize me — just to let everybody hear me, man."

She added, "They don't have to like me, but they might, you know? I'm greedy. I just want an opportunity to gather up some more fans.
The more I have, the better I like it."
