Evanescence Earn Second No. 1 On Billboard's Hard Rock Albums Chart With 'The Bitter Truth'

Evanescence have earned their second No. 1 on Billboard's Hard Rock Albums Chart, with The Bitter Truth hitting the top of the list dated April 10.

According to MRC Data, The Bitter Truth logged 29,000 equivalent album units (26,000 in album sales) in the tracking week ending April 1.

Evanescence first topped the Hard Rock Albums chart in October 2011 with their self-titled effort. The album stayed atop the list for three weeks.

On the Top Rock Albums and Alternate Albums charts, The Bitter Truth ranked No. 2. Earlier, the band hit the top of these charts through Synthesis, which contained new tracks as well as orchestral reworkings of some the songs from the band.

Four of the songs from The Bitter Truth figure in the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. "Wasted on You" is at No. 12 and "The Game Is Over" is at No. 13, while "Better Without You" and "Use My Voice" follow at No. 15 and No. 17, respectively.
