Posthumous DMX Verse Featured On New 'Godfather Of Harlem' Track 'Been To War'

DMX can be heard posthumously on "Been to War," featuring Swizz Beatz and French Montana. The song is from the soundtrack of the upcoming Epix original series, "Godfather of Harlem."

"I'ma march to the beat, got my own drummers," DMX raps. "Let's get it on baby, we can go to war all summer/I done been to jail, I done did numbers/I don? been to Hell, I done been under/Difference between a boss and a runner/Whatever you thinkin', no way, uh-huh, I'm doin' what you gonna."

DMX passed away on April 9 at New York's White Plains Hospital after suffering a reported drug overdose and subsequent heart attack on April 2.

DMX had finished working on an album before his death. He was planning to release it this summer.

Earlier this year, he revealed that the album will feature Pop Smoke, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Usher, and Bono.
