Polymetal Intl. Q1 Revenue Rises

Metals mining company Polymetal International plc (POLY.L) Thursday reported 20 percent growth in revenue for the first quarter, on the back of higher gold and silver prices.

For the quarter, the Group's revenue rose 20 percent to $593 million. The Group sold 280 thousand ounces of gold and 3.7 million ounces of silver during the quarter.

Gold production in the quarter rose by 4 percent to 337 thousand ounces, while silver production slid by 7 percent to 4.6 million ounces.

Polymetal confirmed its 2021 production guidance of 1.5 million ounces of gold equivalent, as gold equivalent was up 3 percent to 375 thousand ounces in the first quarter.
