NIO April Vehicle Deliveries Surge

NIO Inc. (NIO) said it delivered 7,102 vehicles in April 2021, representing a 125.1% year-over-year growth.

The deliveries consisted of 1,523 ES8s, the Company's six-seater and seven-seater flagship premium smart electric SUV, 3,163 ES6s, the company's five-seater high-performance premium smart electric SUV, and 2,416 EC6s, the company's five-seater premium smart electric coupe SUV.

As of April 30, 2021, cumulative deliveries of the ES8, ES6 and EC6 were 102,803 vehicles.

WhatsApp, an instant messaging app owned by Meta Platforms, has launched a new desktop app for Windows users. The company is also developing an app native to Mac operating systems. Till now, WhatsApp Desktop users have been using its web-based desktop app i.e., WhatsApp Desktop, or browser-based app, i.e., WhatsApp Web. They were using the old Electron technology. Kraft Heinz is recalling around 5,760 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend beverages due to potential for chemical contaminants, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said. The recall involves 6.6 FL OZ Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend in individual foil pouches packed in paperboard cartons. Delta Air Lines is set to resume flights on its routes between the U.S. and Japan from October 30, 2002 in anticipation of easing of COVID-19-related travel restrictions, which were put in place two years ago. The airline joins American Airlines and United Airlines, who have reportedly announced the resumption of flights to Japan.
