Brewin Dolphin HY Profit Rises

Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (BRW.L) reported that its profit attributable to equity holders of the parent for the half year ended 31 March 2021 rose to 32.70 million pounds or 10.9 pence per share from 21.49 million pounds or 7.1 pence per share in the prior year.

Profit before tax was 40.67 million pounds up from 28.25 million pounds in the previous year.

Income increased 13.7% to 199.9 million pounds from the same period last year.

The Board declared an interim dividend of 4.6 pence per share. The interim dividend is payable on 11 June 2021 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 21 May 2021 with an ex-dividend date of 20 May 2021.

Covid vaccine makers Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE announced a new $3.2 billion vaccine supply deal with the U.S. Government, as the country is bracing for a Covid outbreak this fall.
