Telefonica Deutschland H1 Loss Widens; Lifts FY Outlook

Telefonica Deutschland (TELDF.OB,TFTHF.OB) reported that its total loss for the first half-year of 2021 widened to 84 million euros from 62 million euros in the prior year.

Revenue grew 2.9% year-over-year to 3.74 billion euros, reflecting sustained MSR and fixed revenues momentum as well as non-recurrent special factors.

Telefónica Deutschland is updating its 2021 outlook. Financial year 2021 total revenues and OIBDA adjusted for exceptional effects are both expected to be 'slightly positive' year-over-year, respectively. The expected Capex to Sales ratio remains unchanged at 17% - 18% in 2021.
