Wizz Air July Load Factor Up 18.0ppts To 78.5%

European low-cost airline Wizz Air Holdings Plc (WIZZ.L), on Tuesday, reported a load factor of 79% in July 2021, an increase of 18.0ppts, compared to 60.5% in July 2020.

The company noted that it carried 2,956,000 passengers in July 2021, up 62% from 1,824,452 passengers in July 2020.

Wizz Air said it continuously operates amongst the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/km amongst all competitor airlines, with 72 grams per passenger/km for the rolling 12 months to 31 July 2021.

For the month of July, emissions in grams per passenger/km were 20.3% lower compared to same month last year, as the company witness an improvement in load factors over same time.
