Bombardier Reports Net Profit In Q2 Vs. Loss Last Year

Bombardier (BBD_B.TO,BBD_A.TO) on Thursday reported net income of $139 million or $0.06 per share in the second quarter compared with net loss of $223 million or $0.13 per share in the year-earlier quarter.

Net income from continuing operations in the quarter was $139 million or $0.05 per share, 7% down from $150 million or $0.06 per share in the same quarter a year ago.

Excluding items, loss was $0.06 per share.

Revenue for the quarter increased to $1.524 billion from $1.223 billion last year.

Looking forward to the full-year, the company has raised its revenue outlook to more than $5.8 billion from the earlier guidance of more than $5.6 billion.
