Immedia Losses Swell On Revenue Drop

Immedia (IME), a supplier of multi-media content and digital audience engagement solutions, on Tuesday announced an increase in loss before tax in its unaudited half-yearly results for the six months ended 30 June in the backdrop of an 18 percent revenue decline.
Loss before tax for the half-year was 0.43 million pounds as compared to 0.36 million pounds in the first half of the previous financial year.
Net loss after tax for the period was 0.43 million pounds or 1.24 pence per share versus net loss after tax of 0.36 million pounds or 2.63 pence per share in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Revenue for the period was 1.09 million pounds as compared to 1.33 million pounds in the previous half-year.

Non-operating costs in the first-half were 0.29 million pounds as compared to nil costs in prior period, primarily due to costs relating to the aborted Sprift transaction and the 3-million-pound equity fundraising announced in January.

Loss from operations was 0.4 million pounds as compared to 0.3 million pounds in the previous half-year.

Shares of Immedia Group were last traded on August 27 at 13.75 pounds, up 0.25 pounds or 1.85 percent from previous close.
