Zytronic Now Sees FY21 Profit, Revenues Ahead Of Market View; Stock Climbs

hares of Zytronic plc (ZYT.L) were gaining around 26 percent in London trading after the specialist manufacturer of touch sensors Tuesday said its revenues and profits for the full year 2021 are now expected to be ahead of market expectations.

In its trading update, the company noted that at the time of interim results in May, it had talked about the start of an improvement in sales as a basis for expecting a gradual return to profitability.

The company now reported the continuation of an improvement in sales during the second half, currently running at more than 30% ahead of the first half. This has enabled a faster return to profitability and reversal of the first half loss.

The company said it plans to provide a further update in due course.

In London, Zytronic shares were trading at 189.50 pence, up 26.3 percent.
