Volvere H1 Loss Narrows, Revenues Rise - Quick Facts

Volvere plc (VLE.L), a growth and turnaround investment company, reported Friday that its first-half loss before tax was 0.29 million pounds, compared to last year's loss of 0.97 million pounds.

In the traditionally weaker half of the year, group revenue grew to 15.72 million pounds from 12.95 million pounds last year.

Food manufacturing segment, which comprises Shire Foods and Indulgence Patisserie, revenues were 15.72 million pounds, up from 12.95 million pounds a year ago.
