Oshkosh Corp. Sees Q4 Results Below Its Previous Guidance

Oshkosh Corporation (OSK) on Friday said it expects to report fourth quarter revenue and earnings lower than its previous guidance, hit by supply chain and logistics disruptions. Further, the company sees these business conditions to extend to the next year.

Oshkosh expects revenue in the fourth quarter ended September 30, 2021, to be nearly $2.05 billion and earnings to be in the range of $1.10 per share- $1.15 per share.

Adjusted earnings for the fourth quarter are expected between $0.90 per share and $0.95 per share.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuter expect the company to report earnings of $1.81 per share on revenue of $2.15 billion. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Additionally, the company's Board has approved a change in Oshkosh's fiscal year to a calendar year beginning on January 1 and ending on December 31, effective for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2022 (Calendar 2022). Previously, the company's fiscal year began on October 1 and ended on September 30.
