Southwest Gas To Review Tender Offer Of $75/shr From Carl Icahn

Southwest Gas Holdings, Inc. (SWX) confirmed Wednesday that Icahn Enterprises LP has commenced an unsolicited tender offer to acquire any and all outstanding shares of Southwest Gas Holdings for $75.00 per share in cash.

Southwest Gas said its board will carefully review and evaluate the unsolicited tender offer to determine the course of action that the board believes is in the best interest of Southwest Gas Holdings stockholders.

Southwest Gas stockholders are advised to take no action at this time pending the Board's review and evaluation of the unsolicited tender offer.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service or FSIS has issued a public health alert for Siluriformes products imported by Carlstadt, New Jersey- based Grand BK Corp. The products were imported from Korea, a country ineligible to export Siluriformes products to the United States. MTD Products Inc. is recalling 1,774 units of walk-behind self-propelled lawn mowers for potential risk of fire hazard, a statement by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) showed. The company said the lawn mower can leak fuel when it is stored in the upright (vertical) storage position to pose a fire hazard.
