RTL Group Q3 Group Revenue Rises; Confirms FY21 Outlook - Quick Facts

Media company RTL Group (AUO.F) reported Thursday that its third-quarter Group revenue went up 3.9 percent from last year to 1.46 billion euros. Group revenue grew 9 percent organically.

The company generated 15.7 percent rise in TV advertising revenue, and the growth was 15.4 percent in Fremantle revenue and 25 percent in streaming revenue.

Looking ahead, RTL Group continues to expect its revenue to increase to approximately 6.5 billion euros, higher than last year's 6 billion euros.

The company still expects its Adjusted EBITA for 2021 to grow to approximately 1.05 billion euros, higher than previous year's 853 million euros.

Further, RTL Group said it plans to pay out at least 80 percent of the adjusted full-year net result, including cash capital gains.

RTL Group raised its streaming targets and now aims for 10 million paying subscribers for RTL+ and Videoland by the end of 2026 and for 1 billion euros streaming revenue by 2026.

Retail giant Walmart is set to expand its drone delivery network to 34 sites across six states in the U.S. by the end the year through its partnership with drone delivery company DroneUp.
