Siemens AG (SIEGY.PK) announced a profit for fourth quarter that dropped from the same period last year.
The company's earnings totaled Euro 1.17 billion, or Euro 1.43 per share. This compares with Euro 1.76 billion, or Euro 2.17 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.
The company's revenue for the quarter rose 17.8% to Euro 17.44 billion from Euro 14.81 billion last year. Orders for the quarter climbed 26% to Euro 19.1 billion, driven by double-digit growth in all industrial businesses.
Siemens said it proposes to increase the dividend to Euro 4.00 per share from Euro 3.50 a year earlier, reflecting its stellar performance in fiscal 2021.
Looking ahead, the Siemens group said it expects mid-single-digit comparable revenue growth for the next year.
