Shares of bitcoin company Riot Blockchain, Inc. (RIOT) are rising 6 percent on Thursday's trading after the company posted higher revenues in fiscal 2021.
The company's 2021 total revenues soared to $213.2 million from $12.1 million last year.
Riot Blockchain's loss for 2021 narrowed to $7.9 million from loss of $12.7 million in 2020. The loss was significantly impacted by non-cash stock-based compensation expense of $68.5 million and a non-cash, unrealized loss of $36.5 million on impairment of cryptocurrencies.
Currently at $16.95, the stock has traded between $12.90 and $67.85 during the past 52 weeks.
