Shares of software company Zendesk Inc. (ZEN) are rising 6 percent on Tuesday's trading following reports that the company has hired advisory firm Qatalyst Partners to explore a potential sale. In Tuesday's pre-market trading, the stock was up 6 percent.
In February, Zendesk had rejected an acquisition offer from a consortium of private equity firms for as much $16 billion.
Currently at $128.90, the stock has traded between $87.90 and $155.62 during the past 52 weeks.
