JinkoSolar Holdings Rises 9%

Shares of solar module manufacturers JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (JKS) are up 9 percent on Wednesday's trading after the company announced that it achieved a major technical breakthrough for its 182 mm high-efficiency N-type monocrystalline silicon solar cell.

The company also set a new world record with the maximum solar conversion efficiency of 25.7% for its large-size monocrystalline silicon TOPCon solar cell.

Currently at $55.19, the stock has traded between $28.39 and $66.37 during the past 52 weeks.
