Shares of Canadian communication company, Sierra Wireless, Inc. (SWIR) are rising 13 percent on Thursday's trading after the company posted narrower loss in the first quarter.
During the three-month period, the company's net loss narrowed to $12.7 million or $0.33 per share, compared to net loss of $29.9 million or $0.81 per share in the same period last year.
Revenues were up 60 percent to $172.9 million from $108.1 million a year ago.
Currently at $18.49, the stock has traded between $13.10 and $20.94 during the past 52 weeks.
