XPeng Vehicle Deliveries For H1 Surges

XPeng Inc. (XPEV), a Chinese smart electric vehicle firm, said on Friday said for the first half, there has been a sharp rise in its sales of Smart EVs.

As of June 30, year-to-date total deliveries of Smart EVs touched 68,983 units, a 124 percent increase from the same period last year.

XPeng delivered 34,422 Smart EVs for the second quarter, a surge of 98 percent, from the same quarter of 2021.

For the month of June, the auto maker delivered 15,295 Smart EVs, a rise of 133 percent increase year-over-year, and a 51 percent rise sequentially.

The company is now planning to begin accepting pre-orders for its new, flagship G9 SUV in August, followed by an official launch in September.
