Volvo Posts Strong Q2 Results

Volvo Group (VOLVY.PK), on Tuesday, reported Q2 net sales of SEK 118.9 billion, an increase of 31%, compared to SEK 90.6 billion last year, with good momentum both in the sales of vehicles and in the service business.

Earnings for the quarter increased to SEK 5.14 per share from SEK 4.38 per share reported in the same period of last year.

The adjusted operating income rose to SEK 13.7 billion from SEK 9.73 billion in the prior year period and adjusted operating margin was 11.6% versus the previous year's 10.7%. The company's return on capital employed reached 26.8%.
