Brewin Dolphin Q3 Total Income Down 5.7%

Wealth management company Brewin Dolphin Holdings plc. (BRW.L) reported that its third quarter total income was 97.9 million pounds, a decrease of 5.7% year on year, hurt by lower market performance.

Total funds for the third quarter decreased by 8.2% to 51.7 billion pounds compared to 56.3 billion pounds in the second quarter of 2022.

The decrease in funds in the third quarter was a result of negative investment performance of 4.7 billion pounds, due to the ongoing volatile and weak market performance and macroeconomic environment.

The company said it continues to see increased demand for propositions and investment solutions, and it is well placed to capture the secular growth trends in the market.
