Klondike Teases To Bring Back Choco Taco

After recently discontinuing the Choco Taco, Klondike has teased about a potential return of the iconic chocolatey dessert.

The company recently tweeted that it hopes to bring the Choco Taco back "in the coming years."

Responding to a desperate fan of Choco Taco, Klondike tweeted: "We know this is disappointing - we've heard our fans, and we're hoping to bring this favorite treat back to ice cream trucks in the coming years!"

Late last month, Klondike discontinued Choco Taco. The company said it waS stopping the production of Choco Taco due to "an unprecedented spike in demand across our portfolio" which resulted in the company needing to make "very tough decisions to ensure availability of our full portfolio nationwide."

However, the decision created an uproar as fans of the Choco Taco, which first debuted in 1983, voiced their disappointment on social media.

In a statement emailed to USA Today, Klondike confirmed "the overwhelming support for Choco Taco has certainly made us reconsider our long-term plans. The team is working on a plan to bring it back, though it may take some time. There are currently no definite timelines for bringing the Choco Taco back."
