Treatt Cuts FY Pre-tax Profit Outlook

Treatt Plc (TET.L), the maker of natural extracts and ingredients for industries, said it now expect profit before tax and exceptional items for the year ending 30 September 2022 to be between 15.0 million pounds and 15.3 million pounds.

The company said in May that it expected profit before tax and exceptional items for the financial year would be in line with the current market consensus of 21.7 million pounds.

Daemmon Reeve, CEO of Treatt, said, "Whilst clearly disappointed by the short term impact on profitability, we remain encouraged by the underlying trading performance of the business and are confident in the long term growth drivers for Treatt.

The company said Monday that it still expects to report strong revenue growth for the full year and retains an excellent order book.
