World Markets At This Hour

stock april22 24aug22 lt

World markets wavered amidst a Dollar that remained firm and crude oil prices that remained elevated.

Asian stocks mostly finished deep in the red. European stocks are trading mostly lower. Wall Street Futures are also in mildly negative territory.

The Dollar Index was near the flatline but the Euro Dollar parity continued to be broken. Bond yields eased in the U.S. but hardened elsewhere. Crude oil prices continued to rise fearing an output cut by the OPEC+. A drop in crude oil inventories in the U.S. also lifted crude oil prices. Gold rallied mildly. Cryptocurrencies remain firm.
