H&M Group Reports Improved Sales In Q3

Swedish clothing major Hennes & Mauritz AB (HNNMY.PK,HMRZF.PK,HEN.L), on Thursday reported a 3 percent rise in sales for the third quarter, from the same period a year ago.

For the three-month period to August 31, the fashion firm posted sales of SEK 57.450 billion, compared with SEK 55.585 billion reported a year ago.

The company said: "The third quarter got off to a weak start, in common with the industry in many of the group's major markets. Sales improved sequentially during the quarter, with a better start for the autumn collections than last year."

Lidl US has recalled its 8.4 oz Favorina branded Advent Calendar, i.e., Premium Chocolate with a Creamy Filling, citing potential Salmonella contamination, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said.
