Frasers Group Plc. (FRAS.L) reported that its profit attributable to equity holders of the group for the 26 weeks to 23 October 2022 rose to 212.4 million pounds or 46.1 pence per share from 138.2 million pounds or 28.2 pence per share in the prior year.
Reported profit before tax increased by 53.0% to 284.6 million pounds from the prior year.
Adjusted basic earnings per share increased by 47.9% to 44.8 pence from 30.3 pence in the previous year.
Group revenue for the period rose 12.7% year-over-year to 2.64 billion pounds, largely due to acquisitions, new FLANNELS stores and continued growth in online.
No dividend was paid during the half year period and the Board has decided not to declare an interim dividend in respect of this period, the company said.
Looking ahead, the company said it remains confident in its guidance for Adjusted profit before tax to be between 450 million pounds and 500 million pounds for this financial year.
