Millions of Microsoft (MSFT) users were affected by cloud outage on Wednesday that affected several of the tech giant's products, including Teams and Outlook.
Azure's status page showed services were impacted in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Only services in China and its platform for governments were not hit.
The company has now rolled back a network change that it believes is responsible for the outage.
"We've rolled back a network change that we believe is causing impact. We're monitoring the service as the rollback takes effect," the company announced on social media.
"We're investigating issues impacting multiple Microsoft 365 services. More info can be found in the admin center under MO502273," it added.
Microsoft diagnosed the problems in the early hours of Wednesday.
"We've identified a potential networking issue and are reviewing telemetry to determine the next troubleshooting steps," the company said.
Microsoft did not disclose the number of users affected by the disruption. However, Downdetector reported that thousands of users have reported issues with Microsoft products, including Outlook, Teams and the company's cloud product Azure.
