Smurfit Kappa Group plc (SKG.L), a supplier of paper-based packaging, reported Wednesday that its fiscal 2022 profit before tax climbed 42 percent to 1.29 billion euros from last year's 913 million euros.
Basic earnings per share were 365.3 euro cents, up 38 percent from 263.9 euro cents a year ago.
Pre-exceptional Basic earnings per share were 444.1 euro cents, compared to 274.5 euro cents last year.
Revenue climbed 27 percent to 12.82 billion euros from 10.11 billion euros a year ago.
Further, the company announced a 12 percent increase in final dividend to 107.6 cents per share.
