World Market Trends

Sentiment improved in markets after Fed chair Jerome Powell appeared less hawkish than feared in his speech on Tuesday. Markets also weighed the recent corporate earning updates.

Asian stocks finished on a mixed note. Major European benchmarks are trading higher. Wall Street Futures however portend mild losses on opening.

An absence of hawkish rhetoric from the Fed chair dragged down the Dollar and the Dollar Index. Bond yields moved mixed. Crude oil prices gained after industry data from the U.S. showed a draw in inventories. Gold continued to rise. Cryptocurrencies extended gains.

Here is a snapshot of the world markets at this hour across stocks, currencies, bonds, commodities and cryptocurrencies.
