Assura Reports Loss For Full Year, But Rental Income Rises

Assura plc (AGR.L), a primary care property investor and developer, Tuesday reported a loss before tax of 119.2 million pounds for the full year, compared with a profit before tax of 155.8 million pounds in the previous year, primarily due to a revaluation deficit.

Net loss for the year was 119.2 million pounds or 4p per share compared with a net profit of 155.9 million pounds or 5.6p per share last year.

EPRA earnings, however, rose to 96.8 million pounds or 3.3p per share pounds from 86.2 million pounds or 3.1p per share a year ago.

Net rental income increased 9.1% to 138 million pounds from 126.5 million pounds last year.
