American Express Sees FY24 EPS Growth Of 13% - 17%; Projects Revenue To Rise 9% - 11%

American Express Company (AXP) announced, for 2024, the company projects EPS in a range of $12.65 - $13.15, a growth of 13% - 17%. Revenue growth is anticipated in a range of 9% - 11%. For long-term, the company expects: EPS growth in mid-teens; and revenue growth in excess of 10%.

Fourth quarter net income was $1.93 billion, an increase of 23% from prior year. Earnings per share was $2.62, up 27%. Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $2.64 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
