Tuesday, WPP Plc. (WPP) announced that Philip Jansen has been appointed as non-executive director and chair-designate.
Jansen will officially join the Board on September 16, 2024.
Upon joining, he will also serve as a member of the Compensation Committee and the Nomination and Governance Committee.
He will take over from Roberto Quarta as non-executive chair of WPP starting January 1, 2025, following Quarta's retirement from the Board on 31 December 2024.
Jansen was chief executive of BT Group from 2019 until February 2024 and previously held the position of CEO at Worldpay.
