Plains All American Pipeline LP Q2 Profit Drops, Inline With Estimates

Plains All American Pipeline LP (PAA) reported a profit for second quarter that decreased from last year in line with the Street estimates.

The company's bottom line came in at $250 million, or $0.26 per share. This compares with $293 million, or $0.32 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Excluding items, Plains All American Pipeline LP reported adjusted earnings of $288 million or $0.31 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $0.31 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 11.5% to $12.933 billion from $11.602 billion last year.
