Hive Of Activity - Celldex To Report Long-term Results Of Urticaria Drug

Celldex Therapeutics Inc. (CLDX) is scheduled to present 52-week results of its phase II trial of Barzolvolimab in patients with moderate to severe chronic spontaneous urticaria at the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress on Sep.25, 2024.

Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria is a skin disease characterized by the presence of hives or wheals lasting for six weeks or more without a clear trigger or cause. This condition involves the activation of mast cells in the skin, leading to the release of histamines, leukotrienes, and chemokines. As a result, patients experience persistent itching, swelling, and skin inflammation, which can continue for years or even decades.
