Telecom Plus Plc (TEP.L) reported that its profit before tax for the six months ended 30 September 2024 increased by 9.2% to 38.99 million pounds from 35.72 million pounds in the prior year.
Profit for the period was 27.63 million pounds or 34.8 pence per share up from 23.37 million pounds or 29.1 pence per share in the previous year.
Adjusted earnings per share was 43.3 pence compared to 38.3 pence in the prior year. But revenues for the period declined to 697.75 million pounds from last year's 883.63 million pounds, reflecting lower average energy prices, partially offset by the increase in the number of services it is supplying following a period of continued strong customer growth.
The company declared an interim dividend of 37 pence per share compared to 36 pence paid last year. The company will pay the dividend on 20 December 2024 to shareholders on the register on 6 December 2024.
The company said it is confident in meeting its fiscal year 2025 guidance of 12%-14% customer growth and 124 million pounds - 128 million pounds in adjusted pre-tax profit.
