Coffee Holding Stock Drops 5% Despite Q1 Higher Sales And Net Income

Coffee Holding Co., Inc. (JVA) is trading at $4.1400, down 4.57 percent or $0.2200 during Friday's trading, despite reporting first-quarter net sales of $21.3 million, up from $19.5 million in the prior year.

The stock opened at $4.88 and has traded between $3.7716 and $5.14 so far, compared to a previous close of $4.34 on the Nasdaq. Trading volume is 740,306 shares, well above the average of 245,574. The stock's 52-week range is $1.23 to $9.93.

Net income also rose significantly to $1.15 million from $351,024.
