Comerica Inc. (CMA) shares dropped 5.32 percent to $50.13 during Monday's trading despite reporting higher net income for the first quarter of 2025. The company posted net income of $172 million, up from $138 million in the same quarter last year.
The stock opened at $53.70 and traded between $50.63 and $54.00 on the day on the New York Stock Exchange.
Volume reached 773,775 shares, well below the average of 2.3 million. Comerica is currently trading closer to the lower end of its 52-week range of $45.32 to $73.45.
