AkzoNobel Appoints Fredrik Westin As Chief Financial Officer

AkzoNobel NV (AKZOY.PK,AKZOY), a Dutch paints and coatings provider, said on Thursday that it has appointed Fredrik Westin as Chief Financial Officer with effect from January 1, 2026.

Westin will succeed Maarten de Vries as part of a structured succession process. Maarten de Vries will remain as the Board member until he retires from AkzoNobel at the end of his second term in April 2026.

Since May 2020, Westin has been the CFO and Executive Vice-President at Autoliv Inc. (ALV), an automotive safety firm.
