Haemonetics Stock Plunges 24% After Revenue Miss In Q2

Haemonetics Corporation (HAE) dropped 23.96 percent to $57.62 on Thursday after reporting weaker-than-expected second-quarter results.

Net revenues fell to $321.4 million from $336.2 million a year ago, while net income declined to $34.0 million from $38.4 million.

The stock opened at $72.08 and traded between $56.70 and $72.00 during the session, with volume soaring to 3.7 million shares versus an average of around 562,000 on the New York Stock Exchange. Shares are now hovering just above the 52-week low of $55.30, well below the high of $94.99.
